As a design intern @TWC you work as a fully functioning team member on multiscreen applications for a variety of platforms, amongst which are Smart TV’s, media players and mobile devices. You will be guided by one of our senior designers while working on pitches and projects for real clients. On the side, we’ll create a fictional client assignment for you so you can discover your own strengths and weaknesses and show us what you’re capable of. You’ll get familiar with all facets of being a designer and of course you will receive an appropriate compensation for your hard work.
TWC is a leading digital agency in the field of next generation TV, with its HQ in Amsterdam. We specialise in multiscreen app strategy, concept, design and development, with a strong focus on Connected TV. With a young and ambitious team we create custom live & on-demand video applications for Smart TV’s, game consoles, media players, settop boxes, tablets and other connected devices. Among our clients you will find media companies, cable operators, and CE manufacturers. As Benelux market leader, we now aim for international growth. In 2014 we opened our first international branch office in Budapest and we’re currently opening an office in Los Angeles. Pop-up offices in London, Berlin and Barcelona are still on our wish list.
We believe in a connected world, without online barriers between systems and devices, and for that we want to create the ultimate user experience: we want our users to be touched, seduced and inspired anytime, anywhere.
Our HQ is situated in an industrial premises on the Helicopterstraat in Amsterdam-Zuid. A serious playground with game consoles, flat screens and of course all devices that we build apps for. Working hard means playing hard, so besides work you can join the TWC pool competition, movie nights, after work drinks, lunch cooking sessions and more.
An ambitious and passionate 3rd year communication & multimedia design student with a clear vision. You have experience with state-of-the-art design tools but most importantly, you are enthusiastic, eager to learn, assertive and dedicated. We’d like to see one or more additional projects in your portfolio besides the mandatory school work.
